🖼️ Frames Guide

A frame is literally the first or last frame of the video for a given shot. The first and last frames you generate in StableGen are to be used with AI video generators, along with the video prompts, to create the video for each shot.

• The frames for a shot are composited images that combine the characters and with a stage.
• Other settings like the choice of camera/lens/lighting all affect the frame's look.
• The frame agent pipeline combines all these elements and detailed instructions from the shot generation pipeline to create the image of your first/last frame.

Follow these steps to generate a frame from a shot:

1. Select the image assets for the linked Character(s) and Stage.
   • If you haven't created assets yet, now you can specifically create an asset for this Frame. We tend to favor this approach rather than creating a number of assets up front that might not fit well in any particular shot.
2. Check over the frame's prompt. This is only a part of what is sent to the image generator but we make this field editable so you can tailor it to your specificities.
3. Click "Generate First/Last Frame"
4. Review the result.
   • If you are not happy, adjust the assets and/or prompt and click "Regenerate"

StableGen intelligently composes frames by combining multiple elements:

• Background Layer: Stage/environment from your project
• Character Layer(s): Generated character assets in appropriate poses
• Lighting & Atmosphere: Based on scene description and mood
• Camera Perspective: Matches the shot's specified angle and framing
